Cricut Shirt Ideas

Get TONS of ideas for Cricut shirts! You can make EASY shirts with your Cricut – just grab some iron on vinyl and check out MORE THAN 50 Cricut Shirt Ideas!
If you love crafting with a Cricut machine, chances are that you’re constantly on the lookout for Cricut shirt designs. You can use 1000s of free designs if you subscribe to Cricut Access (<–and you probably should!), plus there are an infinite number of SVG designs that you can download from blogs, design websites, and more!
An SVG image (scalable vector graphic) is the best type of file to upload to Cricut Design Space, as it allows you create your shirt in any size without loss of quality. Plus, SVG designs offer the ability to have “layers” or multiple colors in your shirt.

What to Use to Make Shirt with Cricut?
If you want to start making DIY shirts with your Cricut, there are tons of supplies to choose from, but here are my favorites:
- Cutting Machine (Buy a Cricut on Amazon | Cricut | Michaels)
- Iron On Vinyl (HTV) from Cricut | Expressions Vinyl | Michaels | Heat Transfer Warehouse
- Cricut EasyPress from Cricut | Michaels or Heat Press from Heat Transfer Warehouse
- Printable Vinyl is what I recommend for Stickers from Michaels | Expressions Vinyl
- Infusible Ink Sheets for Sublimation Projects at Cricut | Michaels
Cricut Infusible Ink is one of my new favorite product on the market. It makes permanent, fade proof, peel proof t shirts! Make sure you read my tutorial on How to Make a Shirt with Cricut Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets.
You can use any of the current Cricut models: Maker, Explore Air, or Joy. Each machine has slightly different capabilities, but all can cut Heat Transfer Vinyl and Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets to make shirts. Plus, all three can use Cricut Infusible Ink sublimation style pens, too!
