First, fill your balloons with helium to desired size so that you can measure the space you have for your black cat vinyl design. Tie them off with balloon string and group the balloons – groups of odd numbers are always a good idea!

You can access the file we designed for the Black Cat Halloween Balloons in Cricut Design Space HERE.

Click “customize” to resize the black cat face to the desired size, and then copy and paste the entire design on the canvas as many times as you need.

I used Cricut Permanent Vinyl to create my Black Cat Faces, so make sure you set the material settings for the correct material.

Since you’re not using Iron-On, you don’t have to mirror the design.

After your designs have finished cutting, peel away the extra vinyl. Next, you need to apply the vinyl to your balloon. You can actually use transfer tape if you’re REALLY careful with it, but if you don’t want to risk popping the balloon, you can peel off each piece of the vinyl and apply it to the balloon with your fingers. I tried both ways and depending on the complexity of the design, you can choose which ever you’d like! That’s really it – making DIY Black Cat Halloween balloons are SO easy!
