I’m doing some serious last-minute Thanksgiving crafts over here because we were out of internet and power for the entire weekend. A huge winter storm went through our area and knocked down a TON of trees. But it’s back on and I’m dying to get my Thanksgiving prep done! I designed this simple Thanksgiving SVG to make take-home bags for Thanksgiving and I’m sharing it with y’all today! Keep reading to download your Free Eat More Pie Thanksgiving SVG!
How to Make Thanksgiving Take Home Bags
What I love about these Thanksgiving take-home bags is that they are inexpensive paper bags! Because I’m so far behind on Thanksgiving dinner prep and making the crafts I wanted to, I wanted take home bags that were SUPER easy! My dinner guests on Thursday can carry their throw away containers of food home in these cute bags, or can fill them with cookies and other sweets that I’m making for Thanksgiving.
These Thanksgiving Take-Home bags are easy to make with your Cricut and some Iron-On Vinyl (yes! you can use Iron-On on paper!)

Upload your Free Eat More Pie Thanksgiving SVG to Cricut Design Space.
If you’re new to using SVG files with your Cricut machine, make sure you read my full post on How to Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space.
Size the design to fit your Thanksgiving take home bag and the copy and paste the images as many times as you need for the number of crafts you’re making.
Click “Make It” and make sure you click the slider button to MIRROR your design when using Iron On Vinyl.
When the designs are finished cutting, cut apart the images and weed away the extra vinyl.
Preheat your EasyPress. The settings for cardstock say 280 degrees, but since the paper bags are a little thicker, I used 300 degrees.
If you need to double check the recommended settings for the EasyPress, consult this EasyPress Interactive Guide on the Cricut website.
Press onto the bag for 30 seconds on the front, protecting your bag with the Iron On Protective sheet, and 15 seconds on the reverse. Peel off the carrier sheet, and you’re done!
