One of the simple tasks I like to do at the beginning of the year or when I’m trying to be more productive is to clean up the apps I use on my iPhone. I organize them into groups and delete apps that I am no longer using.
I also take apps that I don’t want to waste time on (I’m looking at you, Facebook!) and move them into groups a few screens back on my iPhone. It’s amazing what a clean iPhone home screen will do for your ability to get work done!
This year, I took it one step further and created a set of minimal iphone app icons to replace the standard app logos on my phone. I made a handful for the apps that I use regularly, and I’m sharing them with you!

I’m lucky enough to have a teenage daughter that loves to set up my phone (she’s SO much faster than I am!), so I’m not a ton of help when it comes to the technical aspect. BUT, she’s promised that she’ll make a video for me for my YouTube page! If you’re not familiar with how to set up your home screen, she downloaded the app “Widgetsmith” which allows you to display the larger icons.
