You can personalize the card by engraving your hand written message. It’s really easy to convert handwriting to an SVG for laser cut files!

Or you can just grab a marker and you can write on the blank space. This valentine is perfect for kids to send a special card to their grandparents. They will love it! It also makes a great memento to display every year.

How to Make a Wooden Valentine’s Day Card with a Laser Cutter

This file comes ready to cut on a laser machine – you will just have to set your cut and engrave settings based on the machine and wood you are using.

I used 3mm Glowforge brand Maple Plywood to make this version, if you would like to use something similar.

NOTE: This design may take additional time to engrave due to the border design. If you are using a less powerful laser or making several cards at one time, you can remove the striped border from the design to speed up the engrave.

You can add cute embellishments to the card, or allow your child to paint it for additional fun!
