How to Make Starbucks Cup Vinyl Decals
Open the .zip file and upload the Hocus Pocus Starbucks label in Cricut Design Space.
If you’re new to using SVG files with your Cricut machine, make sure you read my full post on How to Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space.
The SVG designs are already designed and sized to fit the cups – you shouldn’t have to resize them.
Click the green “Make It” button when you’re ready to cut.
When the designs are finished, carefully weed the extra vinyl away. *Here’s a tip: Pieces of the Starbucks decal designs are VERY SMALL. I use the “reverse weeding” technique for small designs like the lettering on Starbucks cups.
To Reverse Weed: weed the middles of the letters/designs out as needed, then place transfer tape over the WHOLE vinyl piece. Rub the transfer paper with a scraper to adhere the vinyl to the tape, then CAREFULLY lift the design away from the backing. The cut pieces will stick to the tape, but the rest of the vinyl will stay!
Line up the green vinyl on top of the black circle label and use the scraper to adhere the two layers together.
Apply both colors of vinyl at once to the cup by centering the label over the Starbucks logo. Smooth the design away from the center and then firmly rub the design onto the cup. Carefully peel away the transfer tape.
Since the Hocus Pocus witch silhouettes are so small, I decided just to apply those by hand.
Let the vinyl adhesive cure to the cup for 24 hours before using. Enjoy!

This is so cute! I can’t wait to make it!! Thank you so much for sharing.
It looks like the orange hair piece is missing a line at the bottom to make it a completed shape. Is there an easy way I can fix this in design space?

Ahhh! Thank you! I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me. I stare at these way too long :)If you click “Make It” it cuts totally fine. It just looks hidden when you pull it in – I’ll find it and fix the file tomorrow!

Hi! Make sure you are uploading the .svg file, otherwise it will try to import a print then cut file 🙂
