I can’t believe that summer is just around the corner…mostly because it’s cold and snowy here. In April. I’m over it. But alas, it’s only a few weeks until we HAVE to have warm weather, right? So I’m gearing up for summer by making these custom can koozies using downloadable SVGs from Everyday Party Magazine as well as my FREE DOWNLOADS page.Custom Can Koozies are SO easy to make, and for just a few dollars and a few minutes, you can have a whole collection of personalized koozies. Custom koozies are a perfect beginner project for Cricut machines or Silhouette machines.

OR..you can use the design on anything! A shirt or tote or cooler bag would be great with either of these designs

How to Make DIY Personalized Can Koozies

The first step is to download the SVG of your choice into Cricut Design Space. I even have a FREE Cheers Y’all SVG for you to download!

Re-size the image to the desired size for your project.

Cut the design (make sure you click “MIRROR” on and put the shiny side of the Iron On vinyl down on the mat).

For this project, we used the awesome new Cricut SportFlex Iron On! If you haven’t checked it out, it’s awesome–it’s light and flexible and it comes with the Cricut StrongBond guarantee!

If you want to see the projects using the Cricut SportFlex Iron On, check out the DIY WORKOUT SHIRT I made as well as the CRICUT SPORTFLEX PROJECT ROUNDUP featuring some of my favorite bloggers and their projects!

Using the Cricut EasyPress makes applying your project to your material a breeze! Depending on the vinyl and material you choose, just following the EasyPress Recommended Settings from Cricut. (CLICK HERE FOR EASYPRESS RECOMMENDATIONS).

I made a couple of these custom can koozies as Teacher Appreciation gifts, and so did Everyday Party Magazine! I’m thinking I want to make some for myself, too–summer can’t come soon enough!
