One of the easiest ways to make cupcake toppers is with a Xyron machine – and for National Craft week, I’m showing you how I do it! Today’s CRAFTWEEK post is sponsored by Xyron. Supplies You Need for St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake Toppers Printable

Making St. Patrick’s Day printable cupcake toppers is easy, even for a party – print as many as you need! With this method, you’ll use two circles for each cupcake topper. Either use the shamrock design for the front and back of the topper, or use colored cardstock for the back of the topper. I used green cardstock for the reverse side.

How to Put Together Printable Cupcake Toppers with a Xyron for St. Patrick’s Day

Once you have your sheet printed, cut it into strips with a paper cutter or scissors.

Cut the cardstock into 2.5-3” wide strips.

Using a 2” circle punch, cut out the shamrock design with an even border around the circle.

Then cut the green cardstock circles.

To adhere the topper pieces to each other, I used a Xyron Creative Station with a permanent adhesive roll. Run 1/2 of your topper pieces through the Xyron (I used the green cardstock pieces).

Rub around the edges of the cardstock with your finger and peel off the clear sheet.

With the adhesive side laying face up, flatten the top of your paper straw and press it on the cardstock circle.

Lay a shamrock circle on top, being careful to line it up before it touches the adhesive. Press both sides together to adhere.

The best part about this method is there’s no drying time, and you don’t have to worry about burning your fingers with a hot glue gun! Just decorate your cupcakes however you want and place the toppers in right before serving.

To give my cupcakes a little extra St. Patrick’s Day decor, I added colored sugar and rainbow gummies that I also used on this St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Cupcake Topper.

These printable St. Patrick’s Day cupcake toppers can be used for more than just cupcakes too! You can cut out the circles and use a hole punch to make gift tags, or even print them out on sticker paper and cut to make stickers!
