DIY Harry Potter Doormat

I’ve been seeing Harry Potter doormats pop up around the internet, and I needed one! I decided to make my own using this easy DIY doormat tutorial, and I’m sharing the free SVG file!
Doormats are one of my favorite crafts to make, and they make great gifts! This doormat is perfect for Halloween, but you can definitely use it all year.
Basic Supplies You Need to Make Your Own Harry Potter Doormat
- Blank Coir Doormat
- Cricut Machine
- Cricut EasyPress 2 or Iron
- 12×24″ Cutting Mat
- Wide Freezer Paper
- Black Flex Seal Spray

How to Make a Harry Potter Doormat with your Cricut
If you’re new to using SVG files with your Cricut machine, make sure you read my full post on How to Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space.
If you’d like to learn more about making your own doormat, you can make a DIY Fall Doormat and get another FREE SVG!
Upload the SVG file to Cricut Design Space and size to fit your doormat. Use a 12×24″ mat and cut using the custom “Freezer Paper” setting or Paper (-) for the freezer paper. I’ve also had success using the Washi setting. Cut on MIRROR with the wax side of the freezer paper UP.
Lightly heat the stencil design onto the doormat with your EasyPress machine. Use straight pins to attach corners and small pieces.
Spray two coats with Flex Seal pointing the can straight down. Carefully peel off the freezer paper and let dry.

This file is DOWNLOAD #167 in my FREE DOWNLOADS LIBRARY.
Get the password below! (If you have the password, head over to the library to download the file.
You will NOT receive an email with the download file. SVG files can be used with Cricut Design Space and upgraded versions of Silhouette Studio.
