Making creative Halloween drinks is an easy way to dress up a Halloween Party – especially when the drinks are as easy as this Halloween Spider drink made with three simple ingredients! You could make many variations of this drink with rum, vodka, or even as a mocktail, but we love the poison spider theme using the Martha Stewart Celebrations Halloween line.
A few weeks ago, my friend Jessica from Everyday Party Magazine came to visit and we planned a Halloween Party with Martha Stewart, Cricut, and Michaels . We made a TON of DIY Halloween Party Supplies, including cupcake toppers that we used as food picks, foil spider napkins, a cake topper, and more! But probably my favorite DIY Halloween Party Idea that we came up with was this incredible Halloween “Poison” Spider Drink that is SO easy to make. Using Halloween test tubes and other Halloween party supplies from the Martha Stewart Halloween collection, we came up with an interactive Halloween cocktail that all of your guests will love!
Ingredients Needed to Make a Spooky Halloween Spider Drink
-clear soda or flavored sparkling water
-vodka, rum or clear alcohol of choice (approximately 1.5 oz per drink)
-maraschino cherry syrup
Note: If you’d like to make this spider drink a mocktail for the kids, leave out the alcohol and check out how Jessica made them over at Everyday Party.
How to Make Spider Halloween Drinks
Pour clear soda or flavored sparkling water into glasses. Add alcohol to taste (approximately 1 shot per drink). Use Halloween straws and straw toppers to decorate the glasses.
Fill test tubes with maraschino cherry syrup.
Display the test tubes with the drinks and let your guests pour in their own “poison!” How fun!
How awesome does the “poison” look when combining with the soda? Your guests will love it!
Stir to incorporate the cherry syrup and drink! SO incredibly easy!
