Happy Monday! It’s so hard to believe that Halloween is just over a week away. This weekend I was busy crafting Halloween decor and one of my favorite things to make for my kids for Halloween–DIY Halloween shirts using my Cricut Maker and Iron-On Vinyl!

For these shirts I actually used two different designs that I spotted on Etsy from the shop SVGgallery. Sometimes I come across cutting designs that are just so cute that I can’t resist buying them!

These two shirts I made for my two year old daughter, mostly because she’s the easiest to dress these days (seriously, preteens are too picky!)

Here’s the “Happy Halloween” SVG that you can buy in their Etsy shop HERE. The ruffle sleeved shirt I purchased on Amazon.

My favorite Halloween SVG I bought on SVGgallery was this “Boo Y’all” design! It’s so cute on this $4 dollar shirt from Walmart ($4!) I think it’s so cute.

For both of these shirts, I used Cricut brand Iron-on Vinyl (SHOP HERE!) and cut the image on my new Cricut Maker, which is my new favorite crafting machine!

If you already have a Cricut machine and Design Space on your computer, uploading an SVG is super easy. Just head to the “upload” link icon on the left hand side of your canvas and follow the step by step instructions. The only thing to remember is to double check that before you cut your files, that your file is set to cut the “mirror image” and that the shiny side of your iron-on vinyl is down on the mat. Cut your design, weed out all of the excess vinyl, and using the new Cricut EasyPress (SHOP HERE) or an iron, apply the iron-on to your shirt.

I can’t wait for my little girl to wear these shirts! What DIY Halloween projects are you creating?
