Make your own Laser Cut Halloween Earrings with a FREE Hocus Pocus Earring SVG File! Use this Halloween Earring SVG with your Glowforge machine or use a Cricut machine to cut the earrings from other materials such as chipboard or thin leather.
Last year I made the cutest Halloween earrings with my Glowforge and Cricut machines, and this year I made myself a pair of wooden laser cut Halloween earrings!
Hocus Pocus is my absolute favorite Halloween movie, and I have tons of Hocus Pocus SVG Files and crafts on my blog. Explore them all, and get busy on those Halloween crafts!
I used my Glowforge to make these earrings – it’s a 3D laser printer that has completely changed how I approach my crafts. The results are so professional that you can definitely sell all of the earrings, signs, or other projects that you make.
What You Need to Make Laser Cut Hocus Pocus Earrings for Halloween
I laser cut and engraved my earrings from 1/8″ Cherry Plywood. It is easy to use because you don’t have to stain or paint the earrings after they are cut. The wood is beautiful as is!
You can also use a Cricut machine to cut these earrings from Kraft Board, Thin Leather, Cork, and more! Just make sure that you use the appropriate Cricut machine for the material you are cutting. Thick materials like leather require a deep point blade or the Cricut Maker. Also, keep in mind the laser cuts clean and TINY details which is ideal for small crafts such as earrings, but the Cricut will work well with certain materials.
If you’re using a Cricut, read this post for a tutorial and more FREE Earring SVG files: DIY Cricut Pineapple Earrings (I also can’t wait to make these on my Glowforge!)
How to Make Wooden Halloween Earrings with a Glowforge
Download the Hocus Pocus Earring SVG file in the gray box at the end of the post.
Turn on your Glowforge and place the material on the tray. Open the Glowforge app, upload the file and place on the material.
Resize your earrings to your desired size (they will be imported at 2″ tall). Make sure that the lettering is set to “engrave” and the shape set to “cut” and you’re good to go! You can cut one pair or copy and paste the design to make several pairs at once!
Remove any paper backing from the earrings and attach jump rings and earring hooks to complete your earrings!
