Download Free Printable Bookmarks that are perfect for curling up with a book this fall, and learn how to laminate the bookmarks to make them more durable!
With Autumn comes cooler weather and it is the perfect time to relax and enjoy the last bits of comfortable weather before winter sets in. I love sitting on my patio and reading in the fall when it’s not so hot but the sun is still warm. I decided to create these Free Printable Fall Bookmarks that y’all can download and print for yourself, or for a simple gift idea!
Fall Bookmarks to Print
I love the traditional plaid and warm tones of fall, but I decided to update the colors a little bit – but don’t worry, I still added some pumpkins!
After I printed out the free bookmarks, I decided to laminate them with my Xyron Creative Station – and it worked so well!
I have a short video that shows you exactly how I assembled the book markers, but don’t worry, I have the full tutorial below as well.
Supplies Needed to Make your Own Laminated Free Printable Bookmarks
- Free “Happy Fall” printable bookmarks to download and print (available at the end of the post)
- Paper Trimmer (my favorite is my compact Cricut paper trimmer!)
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon
- Xyron Creative Station
- Xyron Double Sided Laminate Cartridge
I love that the Laminate cartridge refill comes in 18′ rolls – that’s a lot of crafting for just one roll!
How to Use Free Fall Printable Bookmarks
First, download and print the full sheet of bookmarks. Cut them out using a paper trimmer to ensure straight lines.
Place the laminate cartridge in the Xyron Creative Station and set up according to the package instructions.
Insert the bookmarks into the machine and turn the rollers. Slice off once they are through, and they’re magically laminated! Trim the bookmark with the paper cutter, leaving a small edge of the laminate to protect the book marker.
Use a hole punch to cut a hole in the top of each book marker and tie ribbon in the hole. You’ve made your very own custom bookmark!
