Every year as a kid, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was something I looked forward to. My sister and I loved to watch the views of the city, crowds of people, floats, and we anxiously waited for Santa at the end of the parade. As an adult, I try to sneak views while prepping dinner for the family, and I still love it. It’s on my bucket list to travel to New York City to see it in person!
Even though the parade is going to be a little different this year, I’m making it extra special for my kids! I designed this Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade inspired Thanksgiving Placemat coloring page for all of them to color while they’re having brunch and watching the updated parade. Hopefully it’ll keep them busy in the morning for a little bit, and then they can use the more traditional Thanksgiving placemat printable that I designed a couple of weeks ago.
The kids can use crayons, colored pencils, or markers to create their own masterpiece. This adorable Thanksgiving parade coloring page features balloons and buildings including a sketch I did of the iconic Macy’s building in Herald Square!
The placemat is specifically designed to print on 11×17″ paper – and you can even print it BORDERLESS to fill the whole page if you use a Canon Craft printer. I have this printer and use it for all of my printables!
