Need some inspiration for recipes to make this year for St. Patrick’s Day? We found four recipes on Pinterest and saved them to make next week!

We are huge fans of Irish recipes in our house–although I’m not Irish, my husband (and therefore, the kids) are! So every year, we make a few traditional Irish recipes that everyone looks forward to.

I’m thinking of making the traditional ones, but mixing in a few new recipes this year!

First, the traditional (aka never getting away with NOT making this):

Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage from The Cookie Rookie. Every year, my husband lets his corned beef boil on the stove with the cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. I’m thinking this year he throws it all in the slow cooker and calls it a day.

This recipe is right up my alley: Beef and Guinness Hand Pies from Frugal Mom Eh! It reminds me of a Shepherds Pie, but in a neat little package:

The next two are ones I think my kids would like:

Bangers and Mash from Just a Pinch. There’s a local grocery store that makes homemade bangers every year around St. Patrick’s Day. I think this year I might pick up a few. And these look so cute in the mini cast iron pan!

Beer Cheese Soup from A Spicy Perspective also looks awesome! My kids would dip veggies in it, and bread bowls are always a winner.
