I’ve really been wanting to make a centerpiece box for my Thanksgiving table, but hadn’t come across the right box. (Trust me, constructing things from wood is NOT my strongest crafting ability). I finally came across this one on clearance at Sam’s Club (of all places, right?!) and I loved the arrangement in it, AND the box! Score! I quickly came up with a hand lettered SVG to put on the side, and with my Cricut machine made a DIY Personalized Thanksgiving Centerpiece Box in a few minutes!
The best trick to this project is that by using Iron On Vinyl. There’s no transfer paper and the design applies SO quickly to the centerpiece box. Scroll to the bottom of the post to get your FREE DOWNLOAD of the Give Thanks SVG!
Supplies You Need to Make a Personalized Centerpiece Box
–Cricut EasyPress 2 (it’s SO much easier than using an iron!)
-Centerpiece Box (you can get started with a Blank One like this, too!)
How to Make a Personalized Thanksgiving Centerpiece Box
First upload, your Free Give Thanks SVG (download in the gray box at the end of the post) to Cricut Design Space.
Size the design to fit your centerpiece box. Click “Make It.”
Use cut settings based on the material you’re using. I used Iron On Vinyl, so I MIRRORED my image!
Weed away all of the extra vinyl.
Line up design in the middle of your box. Preheat for 5 seconds and press design for 40 seconds. (If you have a large centerpiece box, this is a great time to use one of the new Large Size EasyPress 2 machines!)
I absolutely love how this Personalized Thanksgiving Centerpiece Box turned out!
