It is probably not surprising that one of my favorite places is the beach. I don’t love the ocean but I love the soft sand and could spend all day in a beach chair listening to the waves and staring at the palm trees. Someday I will write about the jellyfish incident that turned me off from going in the ocean!

Summer Coloring Pages

When my blogger friends and I were deciding on our theme for this month’s Totally Free Printable Blog Hop and we came up with “Summer” I knew I had to do something that was beach related. I included some of my favorite things about the beach like building sandcastles, a relaxing beach picture with drinks in coconuts, and pretty starfish. Plus, I could add them to my favorite summer coloring pages post!

There are so many great designs in our Summer collection – download my beach coloring pages set and get the links to all of the rest of the downloads towards the end of the post! All of the downloads would be great for summer camp, summer activities, or adding to a beach coloring book. 

All of the coloring pages are sized to 8.5×11″ so you can print them on a standard printer! If you print the beach coloring pages out on regular printer paper, I suggest using a good set of colored pencils so the color doesn’t bleed through. If you plan on using markers – like a fun set of blending watercolor pens – I suggest printing the coloring sheet out on thick paper like card stock.

I love how these coloring pages turned out! They’re great for kids of all ages, but also detailed enough that adults will enjoy them as well! Coloring pages are a great way to spend a rainy day. Download the free printable coloring pages and pass them out to your older kids, too.

Teachers! You can use these for non-commercial use, so feel free to save the summer coloring sheets and print as many as you would like for classroom use! These printable pages are a fun way to build motor skills, work on color recognition, or just use as an art project.
