Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail Recipe

My Thanksgiving entertaining feature for Rue Magazine and Cricut is live (read the full post here). I created custom double old-fashioned glasses with the Cricut Maker and Cricut adhesive foil to serve our signature drinks. This year for Thanksgiving, I am making a simple Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail recipe. I usually try to create one or two new cocktail recipes each year for Thanksgiving, and this year I wanted an easy one!

Easy Thanksgiving Cocktail
I am a huge fan, and Basil Hayden my new favorite. You can use any good Bourbon for this recipe, though. This is a super easy cocktail to make and serve, and is simple enough that everyone loves it!
Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail
Get a printable version of the recipe below.
You can make one drink at a time, or a whole batch – just multiply the ingredients. Pour apple cider in an ice filled pitcher and fill with bourbon to taste.
(Makes 1 drink)
2 ounces Bourbon
6 ounces Apple Cider
Ice cubes
Cinnamon Stick
Place 2 large ice cubes in a double old-fashioned glass. Pour in Bourbon, and then Apple Cider. Stir with cinnamon stick and serve.
Even better if you serve them in customized Cricut glasses! By adding adhesive foil stripes and pumpkins, I created custom cocktail glasses that are perfect for this Thanksgiving cocktail.

Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon (I like Basil Hayden or Bulleit)
- 6 oz apple cider
- ice cubes
- cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Instructions
- Place 2 large ice cubes in a double old-fashioned glass.
- Pour in Bourbon, and then Apple Cider.
- Stir with cinnamon stick and serve.
