Irish Cream Brownie Recipe + Easy Cricut Craft

Two more days until St. Patrick’s Day! Today we are sharing a SUPER EASY Irish Cream Brownie Recipe, as well as an EASY DIY Craft to add the shamrock to the brownies with your Cricut machine.

First, I’ll show you really quick how we made the shamrock design using the Cricut Maker! (Don’t have a Cricut? Well, you need one like NOW! SHOP HERE)

Supplies needed:

-Cricut Maker or similar cutting machine (SHOP HERE)
-Light Grip Cutting Mat (SHOP CRICUT SUPPLIES HERE)
-Piece of cardstock (any color)
-Shamrock shape from Cricut Design Space or you can DOWNLOAD our Simple Shamrock Design by CLICKING HERE

(Beginner Design Space knowledge required). Upload your shamrock into Cricut Design Space and place it within a square the size you’d like to cut your brownies. “Attach” both the square and the shamrock to the canvas so it will cut like the image below (we always use the Light Grip mat so the card stock comes off easily).

Take the shamrock out of the square and lay over the cut brownie:

Dust with powdered sugar:

Your brownie will look like this before you CAREFULLY lift off the card stock:

You’re left with an adorable shamrock shape!

Now for that brownie recipe (I’m not kidding, it’s SO easy!).

What you need:

-Box of brownie mix
-Irish Cream

Instructions: Follow the recipe on the box of brownies, except replace 2 tablespoons of the water with 2 tablespoon of Irish cream. DONE!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the Irish cream flavor came through (the alcohol will likely cook out while baking), and I love Irish cream so I was happy with the flavor! Haha! And with the darling little powdered sugar design on them, they make for a cute (and simple!) party food item!
