Breast cancer is something that affects nearly everyone in some way or another. We all know someone that has had it, or lost someone special to them. I have close friends that have had mastectomies, or have lost their aunts, moms, or sisters to breast cancer. October is the perfect time to show your support by attending races, hosting events, or giving gifts to those afflicted by this devastating disease.

Cricut has some amazing designs ready to go for all of your Breast Cancer Awareness Ideas and I have created some projects that will be easy for you create!

How to Make Breast Cancer Awareness Ideas

First, you need to choose which designs you would like to use for your Breast Cancer Awareness Projects. Cricut has a cartridge called “I am a Fighter” that contains over 40 Breast Cancer Awareness designs to choose from:

They are all available for FREE as part of your Cricut Access Membership. Don’t have Cricut Access? Click HERE to find out more about it!

I love so many of them that it was hard to choose!

Click the image or images that you would like to use on your project and click the green “insert images” button to place them on your canvas.

I have created the “Fight Cancer” design that is sized to fit a standard women’s shirt that you can link directly to on Cricut Design Space.

When you’re ready to cut out your image, click “Make It.”

If you are using your design to make a Breast Cancer shirt, tote or other item that uses Iron On, make sure you turn “Mirror” on before you cut.

For the shirts and tote bag I designed, I used the new Cricut Iron On with the StrongBond Guarantee. It is made to last more than 50 washes! You can find out more about the StrongBond Guarantee on the Cricut website HERE.

To make it even easier to use Iron On for all of your projects, I use my Cricut EasyPress 2, which was just released in 3 different sizes! There’s a mini one for small projects (like iron-on napkins!) and then a medium and large for making things like shirts, totes, signs or even wooden trays.

For Cricut EasyPress settings for the materials you’re using, visit the Cricut EasyPress Recommended Settings page.

If you’re making Breast Cancer Awareness Water Bottles or a Tumbler, you need to use Cricut Permanent Premium Vinyl. It is water-resistant and UV-resistant, and can last up to 3 years, even outside!

Making water bottles and tumblers is a great project for beginners, because they generally use small designs and work well with learning to use transfer paper. They would be a perfect gift for friends, family, or colleagues to show your support.
